Aotea Shapes is a small-batch snowboard workshop based in Darfield, South Island, Aotearoa New Zealand.

Every board is handmade, with most built to order. The focus is on directional shapes designed for real terrain — boards that prioritise feel, control, and longevity over trends.

Each build is approached with care and intention, with customisation across key elements. Boards are shaped for performance on snow, informed quietly by the open faces and wind-worked conditions of the South Island.
